It's just a square building made of white planks with a gray pyramid roof settled on top, like a hat that's a little bit too big. The building could have been the inspiration for the schoolhouse in the Little House on the Prairie books...
It's that time of year again. Sprinklers dot the sidewalks with water. Fresh cut grass sticks to flip flops. And the air thickens with anticipation (oh and humidity).
Everyone likes to give advice. Some people, like me, even like to get advice. But unless you're a person who can magically change your habits and personality overnight, advice can be very hard to implement.
I am a woman. I was once young. (Don't snicker.) And even then I loved to write. But I didn't necessarily want to be a writer, well, not at first.
In the first four months of 2018, I read 57 books, which is twice as many as I read last year in a third of the time. So what changed?
I don't watch a lot of TV, which is why my blog is mostly about books, writing and the randomness of trying to balance all these things in my life.
I tried to keep it a secret, as much as someone can keep things like this a secret...
April is known for being rainy. But that just means more time to read books...
