When people think of telling stories, typically they think of books. But, as I sat last weekend watching my daughter dance, I realized storytelling can actually take on forms beyond the written word and, in some cases, even beyond the spoken word.
Women's History Month is winding down - only 2 more days. 😦 And while that doesn't mean we can't continue to talk about women (past and present) who have helped shape the world, it does mean that today's blog is fitting as we near the end of this month. It's all about why my daughter loves Ruth Bader Ginsburg. But first....
I spent day 2 in NYC traveling around the city with my book, The Travelers, it's side kick Jane Bennet (see yesterdays blog as to why we brought her along) and my daughter's dance company (aka, a group of teen and preteen girls obsessed with dance). It was a day filled with an interesting mix of nostalgia and discovering things about NYC I never knew!
