It's that time of year again. Sprinklers dot the sidewalks with water. Fresh cut grass sticks to flip flops. And the air thickens with anticipation (oh and humidity).

It's Memorial Day Weekend in the US and where I live that means the pools are opening. Now, I know that this time of year people like to create "beach read" lists. But I don't always go to the beach for my summer vacation. I do however, go to the pool. So, instead, here is a "summer pool reads" list to kick off the pool season.
