When you're an author working on your next book or books (in my case a sequel to The Travelers, a children's book relating to a unicorn, a ghost story, a spec fic/scifi book) and also a mom, wife, resistor, sometimes bookstagrammer and daily blogger with a relatively demanding day job as a medical editor, finding time to read can be hard.
Tips on How to Spend 4+ Hours in an Airport and NOT Be Bored (Spoiler: it includes books and spying)
As I've mentioned before I spend an inordinate amount of my life in airports. Sounds totally boring right? Not for me and it doesn’t have to be for you either. Here are some fun ways to spend your time if you’re stuck in an airport.
First it's Monday. ('Nuff said.) The sun is finally out. But, I'm not sure that makes up for the weather being meh (yes, that's the official term for gloomy and dreary) for the last several weeks. If it were a real winter I'd be curled up by a cozy fire right now with my book. Instead, I guess I'll have to settle for the wood-burning fire channel or at least a pretty candle. Perhaps this is why I have not made at far as I would like in my reading goals this year. So, how am I doing? Let's see...
