In high school, although I was loathe to admit it to friends, I loved English class. Outwardly I complained like everyone else about the 'boring' books the teachers put on the reading lists. Inwardly I loved them.
The Windy City. It has inspired songs, a band name, a Broadway show, and a very famous line from a very famous movie called The Untouchables. ("That's the Chicago way.") It's also the setting of many classic and popular books.
