In high school, although I was loathe to admit it to friends, I loved English class. Outwardly I complained like everyone else about the 'boring' books the teachers put on the reading lists. Inwardly I loved them.
I just got a t-shirt with a Shakespeare quote that reads, "And though she be but little, she is fierce." It inspired today's blog about fierce women who inspire.
Women's History Month is winding down - only 2 more days. 😦 And while that doesn't mean we can't continue to talk about women (past and present) who have helped shape the world, it does mean that today's blog is fitting as we near the end of this month. It's all about why my daughter loves Ruth Bader Ginsburg. But first....
I don't generally like to get my news from Facebook. However, when I saw this really great story I couldn't resist looking into it. It's about a girl who dressed up as Ruth Bader Gindsburg for Superhero day at her school. I'm not sure there is a more perfect story to encapsulate the goals of the Books Over Looks blog series!
