So, I am new to the world of Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. I’d used social media in the past, but in very limited circles with very limited posting of my own. Now that I’ve published a book (The Travelers, Saguaro Books), my world has changed. It’s opened up to the wonders of social media and this thing called #Bookstagram.
I’m obsessed. I don’t know what it is but I just love to look at the creative ways people dress up their books. It’s like an artistic homage to the love of literature. My daughter helped me make several for The Travelers and we just did a holiday-themed bookstagram also.
Many of the bookstgrams are so clever and creative I thought it might be fun to do a blog post on my 5 favorite of the week. Now, note, these are just ones I saw and loved. I’m sure there are many more out there. And, I doubt this will be my last bookstagram-inspired blog. If you have any suggestions for great bookstagrammers to follow, I’d love to hear it. I’m particular to the YA ones, but I like other genres also.
So, now, for my top 5 off the week!

I know this picture is similar to my last one but I love using the crooked kingdom book as a red accent. I think I like the red and white even more than the #redandgreen color combo. What do you think? Which do you like more? . . . Day 5: -color: I love red (technically speaking I really love garnet) #bookishfavorites16 -red and white: #winterbookishcheer16 -bookish merch: I have a million and one funkos on my wishlist.
